Rib Rides

Rib Trips take place on 'Firebrand II', a 225 HP Yamaha powered 'Ribcraft' 7.8 metre rib with seating for 10 passengers, Life jackets provided, protective wet weather suits provided on request. Please ensure you dress for the occassion, you may get wet!

Rib trips are either 1/2 hour or 1 - 2 Hours. Daily, Weekly or Hourly charters by prior arrangement.

Firebrand II is a RIBCRAFT 7.8

Ribcraft 7.8 follows the rest of the Ribcraft Range in offering safe and dependable boating. She is designed as a commercial foul weather boat and has proven herself in this field. Even in inhospitable sea conditions worldwide the Ribcraft 7.8 will get you there with confidence. With a high sheer bow and a generous 2.7 metre beam they are true workhorses of the sea.

Performance
The Ribcraft 7.8 can be customised to your individual specification whether military, commercial or rescue usage. The craft is capable of taking a wide range of power options which include outboard, stern drive or water jet. Exported all over the world to a diverse spectrum of operators the Ribcraft 7.8 offshore is a tried and tested commercial worker.

The Interior
Ribcraft 7.8 has a large deck space which can accommodate many people or equipment, control cables are routed below the deck keeping the deck clear as a working area. There is a host of accessories available from consoles and seating to propulsion and power options.

The Construction
Ribcraft 7.8 has a cross linked inner matrix construction making her incredibly strong; the lay up is to commercial specification. The 7.8 is capable of extended long distance cruising, her fuel tanks are located under-deck, maximising the console space and lowering the centre of gravity thus improving trim and handling.
